Aquatics Program in Half Moon Bay
Half Moon Bay is one of three Special Olympic aquatics training centers in the Penninsula. We are proud to offer clean facilities, experienced coaches, and a loving environment. Special Olympics of Northern California
Special Olympics is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people eight years of age and older with developmental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Through participation in 150 local competitions and seven program championships , over 13,000 Special Olympic athletes from Northern California have ample opportunity to practice and hone their skills.
